That’s usually the most cost-effective option for cars in running condition. With container shipping, the car travels inside a closed container, on its own or shared with other vehicles. That offers more protection and is the logical choice for valuable, fragile or non-running cars. A shared container is often a good compromise between price and protection. We advise per situation which method fits and arrange transport insurance for the sea voyage.
Shipping from North America typically takes between 3 and 5 weeks at sea, excluding inland transport and customs procedures. The exact transit time depends on the route and sailing schedule. Marlog provides a clear delivery estimate with every quotation.
